Happy Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico Day!!!

I have decided to start a new holiday to celebrate the late, great photographer Ansel Adams. It takes place October 31st (today)--more specifically at 4:05 pm. This is when one of his most famous photographs, Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico, was taken. So grab your view cameras and stop down to f/64 for this momentous occasion!

Old Negative

About four months ago we were in Zion National Park. I shot a bunch of digital stuff and never posted any of it. I also made two photographs with my 4x5 camera. I didn't develop those negatives until a month ago and didn't scan them until two days ago. Here is the one I like the most. It was the fourth time I shot at f/64. I don't know how I remembered that.

Digital Collages

We made collages in photoshop for an assignment in my digital photography class. Almost all the content of the images was torn out of magazines. And if you were wondering, yes, that is Little Jerry Seinfeld.
