I have decided to start a new holiday to celebrate the late, great photographer Ansel Adams. It takes place October 31st (today)--more specifically at 4:05 pm. This is when one of his most famous photographs, Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico, was taken. So grab your view cameras and stop down to f/64 for this momentous occasion!

Old Negative
About four months ago we were in Zion National Park. I shot a bunch of digital stuff and never posted any of it. I also made two photographs with my 4x5 camera. I didn't develop those negatives until a month ago and didn't scan them until two days ago. Here is the one I like the most. It was the fourth time I shot at f/64. I don't know how I remembered that.
