Hip Hop Day

Today Ellen had "Hip Hop Day" in her aerobics class. Her teacher told them to dress the part, which was something she was very excited about. Unfortunately, no one else in the class was really into the idea and dressed in their standard issue gym clothes. The teacher didn't even dress up, leaving Ellen the only true hip hopper.

Finishing a Roll

A while ago I borrowed a camera from the school and a couple of days ago needed to return it so another student could use it. I still had a roll of film in it so I stopped random people on the way to class to finish it off. Here are some of the results.

Tilt-Shift Tests

I have been interested in making portraits using tilt-shift effects on the 4x5 and this was a test. The books were a still life test. I want to try and shoot more indoor subjects because the winter is the worst.

Potato Cellars and Snow

Today I went out to shoot some BFA stuff and made this panorama of some potato cellars...

...and later in the evening I thought it would be interesting to see what I looked like playing Super Mario Galaxy. I was lit only by the television and the exposure time was close to eleven minutes. I won a star and made a photograph.

SnowFest

This past weekend was SnowFest here in Rexburg. There were some polar bear swimmers, a snow sculptor, free hot chocolate, and a bonfire. By the time we got there they had run out of hot chocolate. Apparently they couldn't get the bonfire started either. What an event.
