I have updated several bits of my website that have needed updating, including a links page. I promise that the changes are more exciting than this boring photograph of a boring dorm in boring Aiken, SC.

It has been almost two months since I have posted anything, so here are a couple of random images from the past few months. I am working on a lot more and hopefully will get some others posted in the near future. Here we have the smallest church in America and a frozen paradise.

Technological advancements have forced me revamp my website on a new platform--whatever that means. Check it out and enjoy some new stuff all over the place.

Welcome Intruder

Tonight while watching the (disappointing) international friendly between USA and Brazil, I caught this little guy scurrying across the floor. Cosmo didn't see it, so I was able to scoop it up into a jar and scan it a few times. It is a Mediterranean Gecko and measured about one inch in length. I was able to get several good scans of it standing still, but I found this one more interesting.

Dirty Harry's

What are two things I do not want associated with a place that wants to clean my laundry? Dirt and hair.

Espalier and Other

This photograph is part of recent project that focuses on espalier, and maintains the seemingly perpetual theme of nature's incorporation into urban environments.

On a quasi-related note, I have had work accepted to the Gift of Gift of 2010 exhibition in Houston, Texas. I suppose you could go if you are in the area. For those of us who cannot make it, here is the website.

Palms

Since arriving in Savannah about a year ago, I have accumulated several photographs of palm trees. These are a few I haven't done much with.

Work Featured on Icon United

This week my work is being featured on the blog of fellow photographer/recent acquaintance, Nate Abramowski. Philadelphia 2010

Last week I was in Philadelphia for the SPE national conference. One of the days I was able to go photograph a bit of the city with a couple of my classmates. My main interest was in visiting the late, great skate spot, Love Park. I also went on a cheesesteak-a-day diet. Here are some random photos from the trip.

Graduate Salon Presentation

This Thursday the SCAD photo department is hosting the Graduate Salon at Smithfield Cottage. I will be representing the first year graduate students and will presenting my ongoing project, Introducing Nature. Anyone in Savannah should come. Anyone not in Savannah should buy a magazine.
