Tintype

So I've been learning how to make tintypes, and this is the first quasi-successful one. It's still a little dark so I may reprint it. It is a photograph of a lighthouse in Escanaba, MI that I took last summer. The little weird spot on top is where the emulsion started to peel off the plate. There are some bubbles in it, too. I think it looks cooler in person.
