Map Turtle

A couple weeks ago we were walking at the beach and saw this little guy trying to run into the ocean. We snatched him up kept him around our blanket for a little while, then let him go. I'm not sure how long he would survive in the ocean, being a freshwater turtle and all. Maybe it was in the middle of an identity crisis, or it just decided to evolve.

Cumberland Island

Last weekend I went camping on Cumberland Island for a few days. I saw a lot of animals (both alive and dead), hiked a bit, and relaxed on the beach. Below are some highlights. My favorite is the couple posing next to a dead humpback whale.
