7x17 Negative

On March 18th I posted images of a trip to St. Anthony to shoot big cameras. This is a negative I made on the 7x17 camera. I am very pleased with the results.

100 Mile Bike Ride

We passed this guy on the interstate a few miles from Rigby on the way to Idaho Falls. He was on a round-trip bike ride from Idaho Falls to Clementsville, which is about 100 miles total. The cold weather, distance, and style of bike he was riding make this a very impressive accomplishment. Very impressive indeed.

Gallery Space

Last Thursday was the opening reception for mine and Ellen's BFA exhibits. The reception itself was pretty packed and was fun to talk with a bunch of people about our projects. This is a panorama of our gallery space. My photographs start on the left and Ellen's exhibit is the collage of frames on the right. The show will hang through April 10th.

Catch 22

The snow is melting, but this has to be one of the ugliest times of year.

Tree and Shadow

I saw this tree on the way home from the store and liked it's shadow relationship with the building behind it. I thought it would be cool to post. Also, I needed a reason to announce that I have updated my website. Check it out.

Gum Print

This was the first gum print I made. There are five layers of pigment on this one. I think it is pretty interesting. Probably more interesting in person.
