Two-year-old Film

About two years ago, I shot a roll of film in a plastic camera, lost it, then found it a month ago at the bottom of the fridge. It seems like I consistently find a roll of film in this manner at a rate of every two years. While I don't find any of these images particularly interesting, I can't help but wonder how much longer this trend will continue--with films being discontinued left and right, and prices of existing films going up. Actually, you Kodak aficionados will notice that this particular brew of film no longer exists. In fact, I think it was three years old at the time I shot it. But I digress. There is something fun about this unintentional game of lost and found. Some may cringe and call it wasteful--to buy and shoot a $5 roll of film, only to neglect it until it is found during a quarter-decade fridge cleaning. But hey, it's fiscally more logical than playing lost and found with a digital camera. Believe me. I found this behind some wilted spinach, and the pictures are crap.
